Content from Project 365
I'm trying one of those take a picture a day projects. I've lasted longer than I thought I would with this and I feel that it has indeed helped my photography. I'm participating in a "Picture-a-day" project thru the great web site www.martainbaileyphotography.com. Here is the link to check it out. I finished the project and went well beyond the 365 days. I enjoyed it so much that I started a new on Jan 1, 2010 one called Daily Image. Check it out if you like these shots.

Content from 2008 One Day At A Time
A photo challenge to take and upload one photo every day for the year. I know I will miss some days, but this will push me to get out and make use of the bag of gear I carry with me anyway. This project was inspired by a bunch of friends that all participate in the community at http://www.martinbaileyphotography.com

    Titled: A Boy's Journey

This week's theme was "Rural or Small Town" and they had to be shot in black and white. I had been planning this shot since last week when my son brought home my Dad's old bike. I knew this was going to be it. I stuck him in the middle of the wheat field and had him walk through it.

This just speaks to the old feeling I get when I think about small town or rural America. Times were more simple and kids could be kids.

  • 366/366- Rock On!

Well, it's come down to the final day. I was hoping to get a picture of something saying "The end" or a picture of a fish or Caddie fin and have the title say "Fin", but it didn't quite work that way, but still ended on a fun note of Rock Band 2

Hope everyone had a fun and wonderful year, and hope you enjoied this trip that I decided to take one year ago, today. I've tried a few new things. Taken a few new angles. Shot objects I usually wouldn't shoot, and have trained my eye to see more photo opportunities that I usually would've missed as I've ALWAYS been on the lookout for cool shots, even though I may not have had my camera on me

Have a save and enjoyable year of 2009!

A personal challenge to put up one pic everyday for the whole of 2008. As much as I would like to shoot everyday, that's just not possible with my daily schedule. Maybe next year ...

366/366 Well, it's done. 366 days of photos. It was fun. I'm going to keep this blog going in some fashion, but not sure what yet.
